Barcelona/ *Spain 1950 Studied Art History at the University of Barcelona 1980 - 1983, collaboration with Metrònom, a space for contemporary art. 1993 - 1995, CAPC Musée d'art contemporain, Burdeos/F, organized numerous exhibitions at the museum and also presented its collection in different Spanish art centres. 1995 - 1998, runs the Departamento de Recerca at the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona, responsible for the broad exhibition program, publications, cultural and educational activities. Currently, she collaborates with the commune of Lleida: discussing its politics of sculpture presentation; organizing exhibitions (the Biennal d'art Leandre Cristòfol, among others) and the public sculptures program of Lleida. As an independent art commissioner, Gloria Picazo has organized numerous exhibitions in different art centres; since 1982: at the Fundación Miró de Barcelona; Koldo Mitxelena de San Sebastián; Palau de la Virreina de Barcelona; Espai d'art contemporani de Castelló; Museo Universitario de Alicante and at the Diputación de Huesca, etc. Forthcoming exhibition: "Libros de artista", Koldo Mitxelena (Summer 2003). As a commissioner for exhibitions, she teaches master's degree students at the University of Catalún (Universidad Politècnica de Catalunya).
