Timothy Nohe is an artist engaging traditional and electronic media in public life and public places. His recent work has been realized in site-specific sound and video installations, scores for dance performances, Internet publications, sculpture, and hypertext poetry. Nohe has exhibited at the Contemporary Museum, Baltimore, at the Center for Land Use Interpretation, the International Corporation of Lost Structures, and the International Symposium on Electronic Art. He serves as a board member, composer, and Internet designer for "Fluid Movement", a Baltimore-based performance art group that juxtaposes complex subject matter with delightful and unexpected mediums. The group creates accessible art for urban spaces in Baltimore and beyond, and encourages a sincere understanding and appreciation for city life and city dwellers through its work. Timothy Nohe is an Assistant Professor of Visual Art at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
