This is the combination of image and text from my video "XLWorld". The image represents an ambiguous red cloud that looks like an explosion and fireworks at the same time. The text is about using the sky as a giant screen for various projections. I have done this work in order to speak about the possibilities of creating a new kind of display in the future. I have also used science-fiction movie aesthetics to obtain the half serious - half funny impact. Only recently we have started to speak about the "global context". Through my work, I have shown a great interest in it. What is the meaning of a "global context"? What representational structure is needed for the application of a globalisation formula?
