BIOBIBLIOGRAPHY ........................... New York/ *USA 1974 Aaron Scott was born in rural Southern Oregon. He attended the University of Colorado from 1992-96, receiving a B.F.A. in painting and a B.A. in philosophy. The same year he moved to San Francisco and attended the Art Institute there, switching from painting to video/installation, and graduated in 1998 with an M.F.A. in new genres. The following year he moved to New York and continued making short videos and films, which he screened in theaters and art galleries in New York and in Europe. During this time he also began writing about film, and curated several short programs of films on subjects such as voyeurism and surveillance. Currently, Aaron Scott is making sculptures and working as a carpenter.
