Her theoretical work is published internationally: focused on the politics of museums, clothing, city planning, the construction of minorities and the conservative shaping of contemporary art. She is presently developing her critique of international art events by inquiring after their ideological and aesthetic links to 19th century universal expositions. Roces is also the principal partner of TAO, Inc., a corporation that undertakes curatorial and cultural planning work, with urban planners, in the interest of social justice. |
