He is currently completing a Ph.D. in aesthetics at Flinders University, South Australia, and acting as Program Co-Ordinator at the Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia and Assistant Editor of "Broadsheet Contemporary Visual Art and Culture". Previously, Michael developed and taught an honours course in Arts Writing at the University of South Australia.
