Jacek Malinowski studied sculpture at The Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland, mixed media at The International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg, Austria and visual arts at The Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, USA.
He had shows in Dziekanka Gallery (Warsaw); Lucacs Gallery (Fairfield); Buckham Gallery (Flint); Knitting Factory, Hunter College Gallery, Westbeth Gallery (New York); Real Art Ways (Hartford); Zacheta Gallery (Warsaw); Schaubühne Theater (Berlin); Bunkier Sztuki (Kracow); Laznia (Gdansk), etc. He received a grant from The Kosciuszko Foundation (New York), The Soros Foundation (Warsaw) and The Ministry of Culture of Land Brandenburg (Germany).
Jacek Malinowski works with a variety of media such as: video, computers, object/space installations, film and digitally altered photography. His last work includes four films in video: "HalfAWoman", "SSS", "Version 3" and "Simulation".
