She is Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at Stanford University, Stanford, California where she teaches the history, theory and criticism of art since 1945. She received her Ph.D. from the Department of Fine Arts at Harvard University in 1996, and her B.A. from Yale University. She is the author of "Object to Be Destroyed: The Work of Gordon Matta-Clark" (the MIT Press, 2000). Currently she is writing a study on the relationship between time and technology in the art of the 1960s. |
