BIOBIBLIOGRAPHY ........................... New York/ *Taiwan 1963 Immigrated to the United States in 1970 with her family. She is a graduate at the University of California, Davis (B.S. Environmental Design, 1986) and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (M.F.A., 1989). 1997, she was recipient of the Public Realm Grant, New York City Public Art Fund. For the last ten years, she has focused on art work for public spaces, using words and images. Her recent public commissions include ‘Signs of Life’, commissioned by the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority for a subway transfer station, and ‘In Other Words’, commissioned by the New York City Board of Education for a new public elementary school.
