Brought up in Ohio. Currently, he is Associate Professor of painting at Florida State University.
Odita is a painter who has participated in numberous exhibitions in Europe and the U. S., an art writer and curator. He is contributing editor to ”NKA, Journal of Contemporary African Art”, and producer of the online magazine ”Connect”.
