Dr. Joanne Morra is Senior Lecturer in Historical and Theoretical Studies at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. She has published on Bruegel and translation; on Rauschenberg and skin / autobiography / indexicality / auto-eroticism; as well as texts on contemporary art and theory and film. She is presently working on a book on translation and the visual arts.
Joanne is a founder of the cultural theory journal 'parallax' (1993; editor 1993-1998) and founder and principal editor of the new 'journal of visual culture', since issue 1/1, April 2000.
