Amelia Jones is Professor of Art History at University of California, Riverside. She has written numerous articles in anthologies and journals and has organized exhibitions, including "Sexual Politics: Judy Chicago's 'Dinner Party' in Feminist Art History" at the UCLA/Armand Hammer Art Museum (1996), for which she also edited and contributed to a catalogue by the same title. Jones contributed to and co-edited the anthology "Performing the Body/Performing the Text" (with Andrew Stephenson, 1999) and has published the books "Postmodernism and the En-Gendering of Marcel Duchamp" (1994) and "Body Art/Performing the Subject" (1998). She has edited the anthology "Feminism and Visual Culture Reader", which is due out in 2002 from Routledge Press. Jones has received ACLS, NEH, and Guggenheim fellowships.
